1-2-3’s of Mindfulness – Mind Full vs. Mindful

Mindfulness is the quality of being fully present in the moment, aware of both our outer and inner world without any adding judgments. There is a sense of calm, clarity, and serenity to your mind.

Scammers use distractibility, worry, and stress which are all contributors of having a “mind FULL” instead of being mindful. When these are present it makes us more vulnerable online because we lack the ability to pay attention in the moments when it matters the most. This can contribute to us being more easily phished, socially engineered, or otherwise manipulated online.

Our philosophy is to make you mindful, and by doing so you will realize that you always have the ability to plan your response to any stimuli. We have developed the 1-2-3’s of Mindfulness to help you in your online decisions.

  1. Raising your awareness during situations to help you stall your instinctive response.
  2. Encouraging you to pay more attention and realize what is happening in the moment.
  3. Empowering a new planned response to consistently reduce online vulnerabilities.

By applying mindfulness to your everyday routine, you are able to clear your scrambled thoughts and truly focus on what is important. Applying this to your cybersecurity training helps you attain information and enjoy the process further.
